Day of Caring
The United Way of West Central Minnesota recently had the opportunity to partner with Doosan Bobcat and help support their Doosan Day of Caring. The day of caring involves gathering proposals for projects being undertaken by non-profit organizations in Litchfield, MN and surrounding areas. The Doosan team provides equipment and manpower to help in any way they can. This year’s projects include the Meeker County Food Shelf, the Kandiyohi County Historical Society, and other worthy projects that are serving our community. All proposals were reviewed to guarantee safety and to ensure the knowledge and resources to complete the task are available. Doosan employees are always excited to use their skills and abilities to support organizations in need.
Over the past several weeks, the United Way along with Doosan came together and would like to thank everyone who participated, reminding us that it takes a community effort, and we are all in this together. We are especially grateful for the involvement of local companies and organizations including CDS in both Litchfield and Willmar, the Willmar YMCA campers, and various community members.
Doosan Bobcat North America is proud to be an active part of the communities in which our employees work and live. At the heart of our charitable giving is the idea that being a good corporate citizen is an ongoing responsibility. We make our community and our company more competitive through strategic corporate community involvement. By helping to create stronger communities, we enhance the quality of life for employees, future employees, and customers.
